I love small town "local print media outlets"

Why waste time gathering local news when you can write articles slamming other news print or other electronic "gathering places" My suggestion is rather than spending your day on line reading what we say...sense it obviously leaves a bad taste in your mouth...Don't read, like if you don:t like a certain local publication don't buy or if you don't like a certain TV program don't watch. I find it very entertaining to see certain local print publications slam this site, without mentioning it's name, but discussion threads here get picked up as news days later. Just a suggestion for anyone who thinks this is bogus...why are yo reading it?, and remember it is not your competition, it is more like a group having a discussion over coffee in a public place where they can all be heard.
Maybe concentrate less on picking fights with the invisible competition and work on what you do best, gather, filtrate and inform the public on local news.
That being said I love small town media outlets, all of them from the paper to radio to the local access channel. everyone needs to be heard, listened to and understood. All local media give their own distinct characteristic for this to happen, rather then slamming one another , focus on doing what each does best and Brandon as a whole will be the winner!
Just my humble opinion, what does everyone else think?
