water study for $52 thousand dollars

Water Study in Brandon
Brandon council has approved a study looking at blending the city's water supply.
The Assiniboine River is the main source but it's poor quality.
The city can use ground water which is of higher quality but there's a limited supply.
A consultant will look at blending the two, which would improve quality.
Less disinfectant would be needed thus improving taste and reducing odour.
The study will cost 52 thousand dollars
Boy oh boy does this city spend money!!!! could we not have used this money on paving some of the streets in Brandon??
