Wind turbines in RM of Elton

Interesting to read the story below from CKX, where it looks like the idea of a wind farm project in the RM of Elton is gathering steam.
Many may have heard that they will be using a meteorological tower to more accurately assess how feasable the project might be.
If you were (or if you are) a resident in the RM and after two years they found out that the project makes financial sense, would you be inclined to get on board?
