Mosquito bites...what do you do???

Now that mosquito season is well upon us, it seems that no matter what measures we take to prevent them, we will all end up with the inevitible itchy, inflammed and just plain annoying bumps that we fight with our all of our self-control not to scratch.
What sort of treatments do you take to sooth and salve the itching? Creams? Painkillers? Windex (hehheh)?
Personally, I don't bother with anything and will just try my best to ignore them. However, I can't stand the sight of my little three year old frantically scratching at his ankles to relieve himself of the itching. Now I am on the warpath for some good, SAFE ways of relieving my poor poor baby of this devilish and festering itching...
Now...what treatments do YOU follow?
