best place to watch the fireworks

I would like to know where to see the fireworks without going to the river bank. We have gone there but have not enjoyed the traffic jam after, now with only 1 lane open on 18th it will be terrible. Also why can't the fireworks be at the Keystone, this would allow any at the hospital and the seniors homes to see it, also reduce the traffic jams as many could walk or sit on their decks.
