Arrest in downtown stabbing

As a result of the continuing investigation into the stabbing death of 24 year old David Azure, on May 11th, 2009, a suspect was arrested on Thursday for his involvement in the offence. 25 year old Bertrand Alexander Blacksmith, of Rapid City Manitoba, has been charged with being in possession of a weapon for the purpose of committing an indictable offence. Blacksmith will appear in court for a bail hearing this morning. No further information will be released at this time, as it may hamper the ongoing investigation.
