Are you in favour of combining the 5% GST and 7% PST into one harmonized 12% tax?

The only reason why i wouldn't want them together is people allot of places have the whole "no GST" bit... but other then that i see no problem with combining them as a sale tax... but what would they do with the GST money they already have. we all know the reason why we have the GST they should have gotten rid of it long ago...
