Clean Fill

Does anyone need or know of a place to dump clean unscreened fill (sandy/rocky dirt, but no garbage)?
I have heard before that the City sometimes is looking for fill to be dropped off when they are working on road work or other developments. Has anyone heard this?
I would prefer to do that than take it to the dump. Which would be a lot of truckloads at 10 yards, lol...
