Calls from Nevada?

Anyone else getting calls from Kentucky from people asking to subscribe to the Brandon Sun?
I'm curious as to why from Kentucky? Is this to somehow avoid or get around the "no-calls" registry by any chance?
Was just curious....maybe someone has some insight....
