Building Lots - looking for info

I am looking for information on buying a lot in Brandon or a surrounding community to build a house on. I have searched MLS but only found a few of the new developments, looking for any insight into lots in Brandon, Chater, Kemnay, etc. Looking for info such as pricing, building restrictions, who to contact, etc. I would also be interested in anyone knows of a small parcel of land for sale outside Brandon that could be built on (5-10 acres). I am new to this so please bear with me!
