So i just got back from walk in and I'm disgusted with the behaviour of the nurses at the nursing station today.  
 
There was an elderly man that had been waiting quite a while and was antsy for good reason. Perhaps he had a mental health condition, but it's not my place to speculate. Anyways...  
 
He asked some questions to the nursing staff about his appointment every 5-10 minutes and every time the nurses would giggle, laugh, and gossip about the man when he sat back down. They were also rather insensitive and unproffesional to his face i.e giggling and talking as if he was unimportant and annoying. My boyfriend witnessed this behaviour as well and both of us clearly overheard some of the things they said about him. I'm sure many other people in the waiting room witnessed this as well.  
 
 
Needless to say we were disgusted at the actions of the nurses today. We're all human and need to have fun in the workplace, but doing so at anothers expense is unacceptable. And for those of you that suggest I should have said something to the nurses or called the clinic, I will be contacting the clinic first thing in the morning to let them know what happened.  
 
Hopefully the nurses that were participating in this are reading this thread. If you are one of those nurses, only you know who you are. Shame on you for your actions.
