I have a problem with our neighbor. She's a single mother with 3 kids who has taken to partying and letting her kids stay up all night long. Her youngest is maybe 3 but he runs around their apartment until 3-4 a.m. The walls in this duplex are so thin it sounds like the kids are running around in our livingroom. I have pounded on the walls to keep them quiet, knocked on their door to tell them to turn their music down, and I've even put letters in their mailbox to ask them to be quiet after 11pm. I've contacted to rental company and they say that all they can do is send a reprimand letter to the person in question but other than that they can't do anything else. Just a few days before xmas there were about twenty drunks in our front yard at 5am. My oldest daughter is 11 and goes to bed by 10:30 on week nights. My wife and I get up at 6 am every morning for work and it is sometimes hard for us to even open our eyes after listening to the people next door. Our next step is to either call the police or take a bat next door. Any ideas on how to approach this subject?
