For those living in the East End Area, has anyone noticed one particular man who works there all the time? I live close by and have noticed he seems to be the only one who actually has put any effort into the making of this years rink. I guess the word community means one man does all the work and everyone else takes credit? I also noticed that the rink is adopted by the Brandon Firefighters, but I have yet to see them show up even once to lend a hand. So I guess my point is simply to say Thank You to the gentleman who dedicates his own time to put the rink together for all the kids who attend the rink routinely. Your hard work really means a lot to these kids. I can only hope some volunteers step forward to help out, otherwise this rink might not be available next year. Once again, thank you a thousand times to the man who puts this together, you deserve to be given credit.
