Where was your teen at 3 AM early Sunday morning?

If they drive a gray 1988-1991 Honda Civic hatchback and they or a friend have a footprint matching the picture in the right-hand column, I might have your answer for you.
Doing a bit of reading before bed, I heard at least two young male voices talking loudly and laughing outside. When the voices were still there a half minute later I figured I'd better take a look out the window... only to see said Civic parked in front of my neighbour's house. There was frantic yelling and then a young male came running from the area of my neighbour's house, jumped into the car which then sped off down the street.
I figured I'd better go out and take a look since they were obviously up to no good. It turns out they went to town on my neighbour's Christmas display and gave giant-inflatable-Santa a beating he won't be forgetting for a while.
Since the ground was freshly covered with snow, the Santa-hater's footprints were the only ones around so I figured I'd take a quick pic. In the image to the right is my size 12 Nike footprint at the bottom and the prankster's shoe/bootprint at the top. Going by the size, I'd guess it's size 12 or 13.
There are certainly worse things they could be doing, but we've had threads on here regarding lawn ornament theft/vandalism/pranking in the past so I thought this would be as good an opportunity as any to make the point that just because this kind of thing is done in the middle of the night doesn't mean that it won't be seen and that those doing it won't potentially be caught.
For anyone that's curious, it looks like Santa's okay and will live to see another Christmas
(Side note with this thread... please don't post anything that might specifically identify who this might've been... but the info posted will be enough for the parents to put two and two together and stand up for the future of Brandon's Christmas displays
