Other than university housing, how difficult would it be to find a nice house to rent in a quiet, family-friendly neighborhood?  
 
Are there certain times of the year that are 'prime' (like real estate)?  
 
I have been a mortgage-payer for so many years now, but due to changes in marital status and proximity to Brandon, we will be selling our home this spring and moving back into town.
