Employment... What do you think

With all the employment threads i was just thinking to myself
Assume you are the hiring manager for your field...
What would you value more?
Education? or Experiance?
Personally, stemming from my experiances with co-workers... Id hire experiance over education any day... Ive seen far too many useless people with a certificatedegree that are not worth the paper it was printed on to trust education as an indication that a person must be the "right" hire
Thats in my industry and my personal experiance though
what are your thoughts?
