why no room for kids

I have a 7 week old and im looking for housing in the last 2 month i have had 5 poeple hang up on me just for having a kid and 2 cuz thay dont want the other renters to be mad if they hear a baby what up with that so they would rather rent to a 18 yearold that will have partys every night i just dont get it
