Excuse me if there's already a thread on this topic.  
 
I was wondering what is happening with Brandon's downtown. Was visiting over the weekend and was quite taken with the little downtown, its old buildings and the potential it seems to have. Many of the buildings look like they've been refurbished as well, but strangely, at the same time, are empty with 'For Lease' signs on them. Is it in the process of revitalization? Or has revitalization been tried and it's not working? It seems to me that a city this size can support a downtown with small, higher-end, independent businesses.  
 
Can someone fill me in? Thanks a bunch!
