Extra garbage pickup... Not done

Me and a couple dozen of my neighbors took advantage of the extra garbage pickup that was being advertised on the radio for this week. But none of us had our stuff picked up. There's garbage EVERYWHERE.
Does anyone know if the city fell behind? Are we going to have our stuff picked up later? It's really disgusting out there right now. Every 2nd or 3rd house has a huge pile of junk out there.
