Abandoned Houses in Westman

I have been doing a lot of driving in Westman this summer and have started a new hobby. Finding abandoned houses and taking pictures of them. I was wondering if anybody knew of any abandoned houses in the Westman that would make good photography projects?
Ps. I drove by what looked a small village that was abandoned. Does anybody know what might have been here or why it looks like everybody just up and left?
