Vigilon Security door-to-door sellers

On Monday night, a man and a woman from "Vigilon Security" rang my door bell and tried hard to sell me a wireless security system. They told me that my neighbour had agreed to buy a system, but I talked to her yesterday and found out that was a lie. She told them to get lost.
I did a Google search of Vigilon Security and came up with this CBC story from last year:
http://www.cbc.ca/canada/manitoba/story/2009/06/16/mb-alarm-sales-winnipeg.html
The guy who was doing the talking was very pushy. He showed me what looked like a Manitoba business license of some sort (but not a City of Brandon license). He wanted to do a deal immediately and it was hard to get rid of him. It was especially odd, because he didn't seem to know anything about Brandon, and eventually said that he was from Winnipeg. He didn't even have a business card.
Just a head's up, folks.
