I went to their website to read an article and was only able to read the first paragraph, and it asked me to register to see the rest. So I did, and I can't see any more than I did before. Now I need to 'subscribe' - well, if I was subscribed, I wouldn't NEED to read it online would I?  
 
Seems they're missing an opportunity to reach out to people who want 'local' news and information, and potential advertising revenue on the site that would come with more traffic.  
 
Mostly, I'm annoyed that I gave them my name, address and other information and didn't get any access that I didn't have just browsing the site as a guest. They shouldn't make it seem like you'll be able to read the rest of the articles if your register - that's not right.  
 
Anyone who advertises with the Brandon Sun - if you're thinking the # of 'registered users' of their online site are potential customers, don't read much into those numbers, because those people are probably not reading the site because they can't see most of it anyway.
