Sobey's open 24 hours????

I hear a rumor that soon (July 1st) Sobey's will be open 24 hours. Does anyone know if this is true or not? I also heard that they are not hiring anymore staff to cover the hours, that they are just shifting existing staff to cover all the hours. If that is the case, I would think that their level of customer service will decrease. And I feel sorry for their staff, having to work that shift. Not a family friendly move in my opinion, but then I guess the staff can make the decision on whether they want to work there or not.
Does this city really need a 24 hour shopping experience other than at Christmas time? I think not.
