I know there was a thread recently about suspicious persons going door to door trying to sell alarm systems.  
 
I just had someone, a young male with blonde hair, come to my door saying he was with Plan (a childrens charity I have never heard of). He briefly said it was less that $1/day to sponsor a child and that he would just come in and have coffee and chat... before I could say anything! I told him I was busy working, and he said he would help and almost walked in the door! He defintly on numerous occasions invited himself inside during the brief conversation.  
 
Has anyone else had this happen to them lately with this 'charity'?  
 
I am not questioning the charity, but more questioning if this person is legit and/or questioning/commenting on how this representative portrays such a charity.
