Santa Parade

Since I'm new to Brandon I'd appreciate some info on the parade. I went to the Santa parade website but there wasn't really any info except the map. How long is the parade usually(time wise)- I know that this varies according to the number of floats, etc.? How early should I get there to get a decent seat along the route? Is there a best spot to view from? Is it hard to find parking?
