Landlords and the Landlord and Tenants Office

Is it just me or are we as renters letting the landlords of Brandon walk all over us? The last two landlords that I had were money grubbing. If you asking for simple repairs to be done, they asked if I could fix or they never did any thing to rectify the situation. They want their money but don't want to spend to repair what is broken. Has anyone had problems or recived any satisfaction from the Landlord and Tenants office? I haven't! let me hear about your landlord experinces. I really want to compare stories...........
