How do you have something shipped to the border that you bought?

I would like to buy a couple of things in the states online, However they won't ship to Canada, and I can't get the items up here. Is there a business in Dunseith or Bottineau, where you can have your order shipped to, and then go down and pick it up?
Has anyone else tried this? any suggestions or advice!?!?
