Smoking

I was in here reading questionnaires that people were filling out. One of the questions was whether or not they smoked.
What interested me was most of the smokers claimed to be trying to quit and seemed disgusted with it and themselves.
I quit about 5 months ago, and it was easy. By chance I found a 90% success rate solution.
Just for reference let me say that quitting with will power has a 3% success rate...gum,the patch etc. has a 8-10% chance...pills like Zyban has a 18-24% success rate. Not that optimistic in my opinion.
I read a book...yeah, I know, I had the same reaction...but thought, what the hell, can't hurt anything. I kept smoking while I read it, it tells you to.
At first I was a little anxious about it all, but by the time I was half way through I was getting excited! Then near the end I couldn't wait to finish it so I could finally have my last cigarette.
The name of the book is Allen Carr's Easy Way to Quit Smoking, it costs about 15$, not much more than a pack of ciggs. Kinda a corny name, but it worked so I won't complain.
Allen Carr was a chain smoker for decades before he figured things out and quit himself, then, he was kind enough to tell us how.
I recommend it for all who really do want to quit and feel like a will less, hopeless failure because you can't. I felt that way too.
Good luck!
