What's the toy of choice for kids this year

I don't know about anyone else out there, but trying to stay on top of what new toys are out there for christmas this year is not my strongest category. What are kids asking for this year?...I'm trying to find ideas on what to get for my daughters this christmas. Any ideas would be great!! Younger children not really into the whole PS3 thing...yet.
