I just came through the construction on First Street North.  
 
There is NO LEFT TURN from First Street onto Kirkcaldy, Ross or Kirkham. If you want to head to the West, you have to go to Braecrest and then backtrack along Knowlton.  
 
My new route home will be along Pacific to the Eight Street Bridge, Parker Avenue, and 18th Street.  
 
There is the first layer of asphalt on both the east side of First Street North and the new bridge. I am hoping that both projects will be completed when the other half of our population returns from their cabins on Labour Day.
