Found Dog on #1 highway near oak lake!!!!

We were driving back from Oak Lake this afternoon when we saw this dog running across the highway.
We went into the town and asked people if they recognized him but no one did.
What do we do with him, with it being the long weekend. Who do we contact? We are living in a basement suite and are not allowed pets! =(

It is Black and White Female Collie, wearing a Black and Pink collar.
