Gettin' Hitched, good or bad?

Im just curious about what other people think about this...I hear all the time couples being together for many, many years and some living together and very happy. Then they decided to get married then shortly after that get a divorse right away.
I just don't understand when people get married then get a divorise a few months later. Like WTF happend?
So i'm asking your opinion...do you think marriage ruins the relationship?....and no im not against marriage or anything likt that, just curious on what other people think.
