New Years Eve at the oval

Just curious how the New Years Eve party at the Skating Oval went from someone who was there.
We drove by around 7 and it looked like a lot of fun with the stage et all. A LOT of cars parked everywhere and a very big crowd. We passed by again around 10:30 and everything looked to be done.
