Is it just me or have there been more accidents requiring road blocks over the holidays than normal? If memory serves me I've passed by four myself in the last week.  
 
There was something Saturday night somewhere around the South side of the 18th st bridge where they had to route 2 blocks of 18th in different directions and wouldnt allow northbound traffic.  
 
Then last night around 7 there must have been 30 cars backed up on 1st St around the Soccer park.  
 
Here's to hoping neither was as bad as the emergency response looked and that nobody was seriously hurt.
