I see the city has scheduled a public consultation re the 2007 budget for January 10.

A couple of things that stand out on first glance..
an 11% increase increase in spending on police service over the next 2 years including 7% this year
A 52% increase in road re-construction. It will be interesting to see how this is allocated.
Anyone that would like to have input is strongly encouraged to take part in the meeting, but this can be a great place to get the ball rolling since we know feedback off of here will in large part be read by those making decisions.
