At the end of the day......

As I sit here after my evening shift at the PCH my feet throb, my back is a bit sore but I am happy about the good job I did (even though we were short staffed).
As I took care of our residents I did it with dignity, with pride and love.
I know I cant make everyone happy, but I sure will try.
As I helped the residents get ready for bed I focused 100% on them. I made sure all the buttons were done up on their PJs, their teeth were clean, lotion was put on their fragile skin and they were tucked in nice and snug to ensure sweet dreams.
I really hope that others experience this satisfaction with their jobs. I wanted to start a positive thread for others to share their good stories about their line of work.
