Is anyone else having issues with their compost bin freezing and the city refusing to pick it up? We have not had ours picked up since mid Oct, and yet no one ever contacted us regarding this, we just kept putting the bin out. We finally called and were told there is nothing they can do.  
Has anyone else had this problem with freezing and how have you been dealing with it & eliminating the problem? We were thinking maybe there is something organic you can use to keep it from freezing??? (sounds far fetched however) We hate to have to quit composting!
