Child too early for school

My children are driven to school everyday in the winter, As I have small children as well. I was shocked when my oldest son came home Friday and told me that when he went to open the door at school, That a teachers aid or volunteer ( Not sure) Held fast to the inside handle and told my son he was too early. Needles to say my son and quite a few other sons and daughters braved the -30 conditions until the bell rang! After talking to others from other schools in Brandon, I find this is common place! I am not sure what kind of a person could stand on the other side of a door and watch as children shiver in the horrible cold! I can only speculate how good the coffee and conversation must be in the teachers lounge. I doubt highly it is worth our children fingers and toes! This all makes me ill. Whats your opinions on this!
