Sick and Tired of...

...having a landlord that refuses to do anything. Back before snowfall, when we had a couple days of good, solid rain in the city, I discovered water damage in my apartment. In two different places. I called the landlord, he came and apparently did something, and made it ten times worse. When I called him back, he shrugged me off and said it would quit when the rain quit.
Well let's see. There's laminate on the floor, which, if faced with a puddle of water (or if water gets underneath the floor), will begin to warp. Does this concern him? Obviously not.
The drywall that is missing CHUNKS because of the continuous pour of water down the wall for a few hours, and is probably molded up quite nice on the inside.. obviously doesn't concern him as well.
And today, now that it's warm enough weather for things to slowly START to melt.. I've got a whole new water damage problem. This time, in the living room, ALL the way down the wall by the window. There is water between the paint and the drywall. It's bubbling out, breaking through the paint, and creating a nice puddle on the laminate floor.
Yes, I do realize it's a century old building, Mr. Landlord- but it is a provincial historical building and you do get funding every year to keep it up and running and in shape. And here I am paying $750 in rent for an apartment, that come spring time, will be full of mold and you refuse to do anything about it.
Any advice from anyone who's been in a similar situation? Who exactly do I contact with pictures of the damage and mold when it begins to form? Is there any way I'd be able to get out of my one year lease due to the damage? Any help will be greatly appreciated, I'm at my wits end here.
