I’m sure most of you have heard about MCpl Robbie Fraser being charged this last week.  
 
If you have not, he was charged with manslaughter and negligent performance of duty in the shooting death of MCpl Jeffery Walsh on Aug 9th 2006 in Afghanistan.?  
 
Julie, Jeff’s widow is my neighbour.?Although we purchased the house in June, we took possession on Aug 31st, so we never had the chance to meet Jeff.?Julie and I have become close friends since we moved in next door.?She assures me that there is much more to this story than what is being released to the media.?She says Jeff never would have wanted this.  
 
Robbie’s family has set up a website to show support (and start petitions) to have the charges dropped.
