I just got back from the bowling lanes to look at a few machine problems. Boss is on holiday's so I'm the one who has to maintain and fix the machines.  
 
I thought it was common sense on the 10 pin that you don't throw a ball down when the sweep is down. Apparently not, one on the arms on the sweep on one of the lanes is broken in half. And we don't have anymore spares after replacing a few earlier in the winter. And while I was there I heard about a half a dozen balls hitting the sweeps on a couple other lanes. It was a large group using them at the time.  
 
We also have a tournament this weekend that would have to use the lane and now they can't until it's fixed. So as you could imagine, i'm a bit ticked.
