What's in Brandon ? ( Soon-to-be new in town! )

Is there anyone out there who wants to share with me what types of leisure activities, shopping, nature areas, services and other neat things that are in Brandon. I am waiting for my " new-comers" package, but I am also having a hard time finding info on the net about services and shopping..... mostly shopping :o ). I hope there are some neat stores and at least one thrift store. Thank you sooooo much in advance ! any information at all will be greatly appreciated !
