Last summer, I had surgery on my ankle and woke up while the orthopedic surgeon was using a small chisel on a bone in my ankle. I could hear the sound on the "chink, chink", but couldn't feel anything
because of the anasthetic.
It wasn't a traumatic event for me. I thought it was kind of neat. Of course, I was well-drugged at the time.
I was just reading a story in the Toronto Star that says that waking up during surgery has happened to lots of people (the link is here:
http://www.thestar.com/living/Health/article/243641 ) and that there is a movie coming out about it.
My question is: has anybody else among the ebrandon community awoken during surgery.
