New House Constuction

Check out the 2 pictures I posted and tell me if this is normal for new house construction. They poured the walls and the basement floor for a new house behind mine. You constuction people could you tell me if this normal to many cracks across the floor and even down the side of the walls????? The year before the construction started the ducks would swim in this area???
