Does anyone know how to find out what land is for sale in Brandon? Who is currently buying up the land? What is the land being bought going to be used for?  
 
It seems that you never see an ad for land being sold by the city unless it is being auctioned for arrears in taxes.  
 
I have heard that the current police station has been sold. Is this true?  
What is happening on the 15th and rosser city owned land? A foundation is being placed.These are not the only 2 pieces that I am aware of, there are more!  
 
Do tax payers have a right to know what the city is doing with their land, when they sell a piece and to whom? Should a legal announcement of intent to sell not be made in the paper so all interested parties have a fair and equal chance to purchase land, not just a select 4 or so.  
 
Any insight to this would be appreciated!
