"The mayor and firefighters association are at odds over what if any role firefighters should have in the new firehall location. The association has been lobbying some councilors. Mayor Dave Burgess says it’s not appropriate and they are not the experts."  
 
As written on the CKLQ site. So I am wondering if the firefighters who have worked hard keeping our city and people safe over many decades are considered morons. It is sad that the Mayor believes the firefighters (who are not experts) have no idea where the new station should be built, the department is here for the cities best interests.
