Todays Sun has a story about some folks who were beaten outside the bowling alley.  
 
The punks that did this deserve the same treatment when they get caught.  
 
What is it with the trend to kick people in the head when they are down, and smashing beer bottles on the head?  
 
Really, that is just begging for serious damage or death. If caught, the punks are looking at an assault charge and a slap on the wrists.  
 
Maybe assaults like this should be bumped up to attempted murder. Time to make deterrants.  
 
And I would like to know what kind of lax security measures are in place at this bowling alley. This is a licensed premises, so what were these punks doing taking there beer out the front door when they wanted a smoke?  
 
Maybe the owners of establishments should be subjected to some punishment as well when something like this happens at their business.  
 
Once again, something that makes Brandon appear to be an unsafe place in the wild wild west. Are we becoming a suburb of Winnipeg?
