Just saw a Facebook post that after nearly 50 years serving Brandon and area, Mansfields Western Shop will be closing at the end of June. Les & Lyle Mansfield look to retire from the business.  
 
They would like customers and past customers to come by and say 'Hi' over the next couple weeks.

I'm just thinking about the retirements of Flash Barber Shop in Brandon and the loss of old Brandon establishments. Mansfield's is also a loss of times gone by.  
 
Although we had zero connection to horses and farms, our family still remembers the iconic horse statue that stood proud at Mansfield's. There was a warm and fuzzy feeling every time we passed that statue of a fine horse.  
 
Thanks for being a great business in our fine City.

Les and Lyle provided excellent customer service to our family over the years as well! Don't have horses anymore but I get a warm fuzzy feeling when I think of the hours we spent in that store! Congratulations on a well deserved retirement!
