Is it just me or is everyone having problems getting anything done in Brandon. A few years ago I called some local business to get some facia work done. Only one out of the three business showed up to give me a price when they said they would. I have also had other business come over to price out other work and never call back.  
 
Now I'm trying to get a tree cut down, got a price on May 14/15 and I said when could they do it. They said with in two week. No show in three weeks so I called them last Monday. They said they would get it done this week. It is a new week and still no show.  
Who would you call to get a tree cut down?

but only for the customer!! It must be good to be soooo busy that you can ignore calls or never get back to a customer!! But as I Was once told, dont cry...apply

so if you have some bad customers do you treat all them the same. I told him to go ahead and do it and it is not done when he said he was going to do it. If I'm being pasted over for larger job, just tell me you are not interested. the large jobs will run out and you will need some small ones.

We've had similar experiences too, ours was with shingles. Finally did it our self. It does depend though as I think spring/summer it the busiest time for outside trades and you often have to call well in advance.  
 
For tree removal we had great luck with Gontree.

I try to treat all customers equally. I was not judging you at all. I was simply observing that there are inconsiderate business owners and inconsiderate customers.

I have a large lot that needs to be fenced in. I called 3 companies to assess and quote for a fence. Only one company ever returned with a quote. The other two must not have taken me seriously. Unfortunate for them they have not been given a great review when other people have inquired about their services.  

Our roofer was a no show with no phone call SIX times! Then came and went randomly throughout the job.

I got a guy for all of you with contractor issues. he's great guy to talk too and is a hell of a contractor. can make a bad situation turn into a good one. Of course he is busy and will be busy but he will not forget about you. and if it's something like a roof leak he will make it a priority over say changing flooring in a house but will not forget about the flooring In the house. He won't make you wait a year to get it done.!!!! No no I'm not mike he is a friend of mine and he has done work for me and lots of others. Give him a call I'm positive you will like his work. What is the difference between the two .Contractor not showng up as promised to complete job , or person responding to an add on ebrandon stating that they will pick the adverised item at agreed price the same day and never show up.Happens all the time.
