Do you want to see our local drive in theatre continue to play movies under the stars? The Shamrock Drive In, located in Killarney is one of three remaining theatres of it's kind in Manitoba.  
 
We are currently filming a video entry to have a shot at winning $25,000 through the Manitobaville contest.  
 
We are also at the beginning stages of a fundraising campaign and are looking for enthusiastic volunteers from the area.

To top off a day of filming for our Manitobaville video entry, we need bodies and cars to fill our rows! By coming to this free movie night, you agree to the possibility of being on film for the video. Free entrance is our thank you!  
 
This is your chance to help SAVE our iconic Drive In!  
 
A dear friend of ours from Darren's TV studio days, David Gauthier, is coming to Killarney June 27-30 to film a great entrance video for the Manitobaville contest. It will feature the Drive-In as part of Killarney's tourism. Up for grabs is 25,000.00 in prize money to be used towards equipment purchase and/or much needed face lift.  
 
Universal Studios has allowed us to play a retro movie in conjunction with this for the purpose of saying thank you and for the purpose of fundraising towards our equipment needs. We are pleased to announce that we have already purchased 1/3 of the equipment needed, a server, and now are working towards the projector and any necessary sound equipment upgrading.  
 
Our concession will be open! Everyone will have the opportunity to donate and receive the same perks offered as a 'thank you' on our FUNDRAZR site.  
 
Fundraising Campaign Perks based on $ amount donated:  
 
$20.00: L buttery popcorn  
$50.00: 2L buttery popcorn, 2L drinks  
$100.00: 2 adult tickets, 2L popcorn, 2L drinks  
$500.00: $100.00 in concession bucks  
$1000.00: 10 family passes (2 adults, up to 4 children)
